Tijuana, Mexico Expats: New U.S. Consulate Opens Up

Via Mexico Today – In Tijauna, Mexico, the US Consulate moved across town to a provide a more efficient office location than its previous one. The consulate was stationed for 47 years near the Caliente Racetrack. As of last Monday, the U.S. government has moved to “a $120 million gated compound built near the Otay Mesa border crossing.” The consulate’s main responsibilities include issuing visas and providing services to American citizens abroad among other things.
