What Constitutes Proper Beach Etiquette?

TripAdvisor, a website priding itself on belaying trusted travel advice, released the results of their annual survey on beach and pool etiquette. The worst beach and pool etiquette offenders are Americans, how do expats in Mexico feel about this reputation?

According to the survey, the most annoying violations were loud music, beach chair hogging and smoking. Does this happen on the beaches of Mexico or are there other things expats have noticed? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Personally, my beach pet peeve is the space issue, so the situation in the above picture might be a little hard for me to handle.
