Discovery in Mexico City Brings Archaeologists One Step Closer to Aztec Royal Tomb

19 Oct

MexicoToday has an interesting article about a recent archaeological find (carved serpent heads) that has been slowly uncovered over the past few months in Mexico City’s Templo Mayor ruin. Mexico City expats have quite a bit of history nearby them to explore. Reading about the Aztec culture is fascinating, it’s such a shame that more of the ruins can’t be as easily discovered since downtown Mexico City was built over the Aztec capital. Have any expats moved to Mexico City for their fascination with this piece of history?
