Celebrating Halloween in Mexico

27 Oct

Halloween in Mexico is a three to four day event including El Día de los Muertos. Children and infants are celebrated on November 1st  and then deceased adults are honored on November 2nd. It is believed that during these days, deceased friends and family return to their homes. Individuals often celebrate by constructing alters in their homes with candy, photographs, food, and flowers.
