Home Designed to Accommodate Anyone in Baja Peninsula Fishing Village

30 Nov

As an advocate of people with disabilities, Patrisha Wright was instrumental in the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. With the help of an architectural firm by the name of House + House (with locations in San Francisco and San Miguel de Allende), Patricia and Debra Zeyen designed a beautiful beach home in Cabo Pulmo, Mexico that is completely accessible for those in a wheelchair. Cabo Pulmo, Mexico “is a quiet region of only 100 full-time residents, located a little less than 100 kilometers, or 60 miles, from Cabo San Lucas.” Take a look at the MexicoToday article to read more about the design process and a photo of this beautiful beach home in the Baja Peninsula.
